I know it's been more than a month since I last posted. For most of that time, I was away from home, so I'm using that as an excuse! Unfortunately being away from home, my running was also limited. Now that I'm back home and settling back into a routine, I have started running again. I'm going to keep my training fairly relaxed - running 3 times per week - until I start my half-marathon training in September.
On the plus side, my break from running doesn't seem to have set me back too far. I'm still within 5 pounds of where I was for my race, and I managed to run at the same pace as my previous training, without feeling winded or sore.
I will attempt to keep things more up to date around here in the future. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
